In some areas, players other than Isaiah Thomas frequently overshadow him. Yet many people have a tendency to overlook Zeke’s true skill from his Boston Celtics days. The former All-Star appeared to take matters into his own hands on social media as fans don’t seem to be giving Thomas his flowers.
A highlight reel from the 2016–17 season was posted by him. “Bro was 5’9 dropping 30 every night” was the initial caption for the video, and it sums up the Head’s time spent playing for the Boston Celtics quite nicely. Reminding everyone of his excellence seemed appropriate to Thomas. He posted,
“Hahahaha cookin they a**. All within the game too. None of that 100 dribbles to an iso.”

Isaiah Thomas and his splendid talent
Zeke specifically called for an isolation play to be made to the “Cook” defenders and said that it was not necessary to dribble the ball excessively. It’s possible that Thomas was making fun of players that play in the league now and mostly rely on iso plays to gain points.
Thomas wore a Celtics uniform for four years. After posting a 19.0 point average in his debut season, he faltered the next year, averaging only 16.4 points per game.
The world got to witness a pinnacle of 5’9 Thomas teaching defenders for the next two years. IT finished his final season in Boston with an average of 28.9 points per game, according to StatMuse. He went on to score 22.2 points in his third year.
Thomas was dubbed “The King of the Fourth” because of his propensity to explode in the fourth quarter of games. With his clever mid-range and paint maneuvers, he would dominate the game.
Thomas had become an expert at drawing fouls, among other things. On a few occasions, even Boston supporters were taken aback when Isaiah received the call award rather than the defender. However, that is the divisive impact he began to have within the league.
Many people are unaware that “Bighead” missed the whole 2016–17 NBA season due to a hip injury. A year later, with his move to the Cleveland Cavaliers, supporters began to witness his decline.
