The proprietor of the fast-food restaurant in his hometown claims that Kendrick Lamar, the rapper from Compton, has unlimited access to the menu, thanks to the success of the “Not Like Us” music video.
The proprietor of Tam’s Burgers, Spiro Vovos, told TMZ Hip Hop this week that the initial days after “Not Like Us” debuted on July 4 were, to put it mildly, thrilling.
Both inside and outside of the Compton Tam’s, Kendrick and Mustard recorded multiple scenarios. Spiro claims that while the excitement has subsided a little, at one point their managers reported rises of up to 40%!
According to Spiro, Kendrick has won a lifetime pass that entitles him to free hamburgers, breakfast, and anything else he desires. A new mural has also been given dedicated space in the building. The owner gave the interview with TMZ.
The graffiti artist was not talking much because he was in his element when we saw him. For K. Dot, everything at Tam’s is perfect, but if Drake visits, he will have to cover the whole tab.
