Carmelo Anthony Talks about how LeBron James saved him

Anthony nearly drifted away while attempting to swim against a strong stream. Anthony might not have survived at all if it weren’t for LBJ. Melo’s greatest regret, though, is that LeBron saved him when he would have wanted someone else. He said,

“I’m sitting there like, ‘Why it had to be him? Why couldn’t it be like D-Wade? You ain’t gon hear about from D-Wade. You ain’t gon hear about it.”

Anthony was aware that James would always remember the moment he saved his life. But Melo came to see the situation from a different angle over time.

The legendary Nuggets player likes to go it alone and his own way. Melo would therefore go left, while the audience might go right. And he understood that he had pals in his life who would always pull him back in if he wandered too far.
