Ed Kelce, Travis Kelce’s Father Blasts X on Banning Him

Dad of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Ed Kelce, recently voiced his disapproval of the X social networking platform. He disclosed that he has been permanently banned without providing a reason. His remarks follow a London-based story by The Times that revealed weaponry dealers operating in Sanaa, the capital of war-torn Yemen, were present on the platform.

Kelce expressed his dissatisfaction with the platform’s policies by posting the Times report on his Facebook page. “It’s baffling that arms dealers can conduct their business on X, yet I’ve been banned for life without being told why-just a vague reference to violating their ‘Terms of Service,'” stated Kelce.

Concerns regarding X’s content filtering policies were raised by a Times investigation that described how weapons traffickers in Yemen are utilizing the site to sell weapons. X declined to comment on the story for The Times, in spite of these grave accusations.

Ed Kelce uses Facebook actively and often interacts with posts about his son Travis and his personal life, which contrasts with his irritation with X. During a recent podcast episode of “Bussin with the Boys,” Travis Kelce shared a comical account of how his father frequently comes across absurd internet claims, especially those concerning his purported relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Travis revealed:

“Every now and then, my dad will see something crazy on Facebook and check in with me,” . “He’ll call me up, all concerned, asking, ‘Is everything okay?’ I just have to tell him, ‘Dad, you’ve got to stop believing everything you see on Facebook.’ It’s basically become his go-to search engine.”

The Kelce family is concentrating on the future as they get ready for the forthcoming NFL season. The 2024 season will begin on September 5th with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Baltimore Ravens in an attempt to defend their Super Bowl championship.
