Ex-NFL OT Gosder Cherilus Explains Why He Peed on Passenger on Plane

Gosder Cherilus is a former professional American football player who played as an offensive tackle in the NFL.

Detroit Lions (2008-2012): Cherilus was a consistent starter at right tackle for the Lions. He played five seasons with the team, starting in 71 out of 74 games.

Indianapolis Colts (2013-2014): Cherilus signed a five-year contract with the Colts in 2013 and started 29 games over two seasons. However, his time with the Colts was hampered by injuries, which eventually led to his release.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2015): Cherilus joined the Buccaneers for the 2015 season, starting in 8 out of 16 games.

He has been out of the league for a while, but he is back in the news via TMZ Sports.

Former NFL offensive lineman Gosder Cherilus — the 17th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft — was arrested over the weekend … after he was accused of peeing on a passenger while aboard an airplane.

Massachusetts State Police say the incident occurred on Sunday morning … while the former footballer was on a Delta flight bound from Boston to Ireland.

Cops say Cherilus was “unruly” while on the plane — and when officers arrived at Logan Airport at around 2 AM and demanded he get off the plane after it landed, they say he “became irate and uncooperative.”
