NBA Player Kent Bazemore Had to Pay His Ex-Wife Samantha Serpe $1.5 Million to Get Back Possession of Mansion He Bought

Kent Bazemore is a professional basketball player known for his energetic playing style and defensive skills. He played college basketball for Old Dominion University before going undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft. Bazemore signed with the Golden State Warriors and eventually gained recognition for his defensive prowess and hustle. Over his career, he has played for several NBA teams, including the Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Sacramento Kings.

Bazemore is particularly noted for his leadership and enthusiasm on and off the court, often bringing a positive and team-focused attitude to his teams. His career has seen various ups and downs, but he’s generally valued for his ability to contribute as a role player and provide energy and depth to the roster.

Samantha Serpe is Kent Bazemore’s wife. The couple has been together for several years and married in 2017. Samantha Serpe is known for her involvement in charitable activities and her support of Bazemore’s basketball career. They often share glimpses of their life together on social media, and Samantha has been a visible presence at many of Bazemore’s games and events.

At some point their marriage broke apart and now the details of their divorce settlement has been leaked to Page Six.

Ex-NBA player Kent Bazemore finalized his divorce from his ex-wife, Samantha Serpe, Page Six can exclusively reveal, but he had to pay her six figures for her share of their marital home.

Court documents obtained by Page Six Tuesday show that Bazemore, 35, paid Serpe, 34, $1,520,944.34 for her share of the Atlanta estate. In return, the college athlete had to issue a “quitclaim deed” transferring “any and all interest” she had in the house to the former Hawks player.

The former couple also agreed that they would not have to pay alimony to each other; however, they have a child support agreement for their two children — son Jett, 5 and daughter Nixon, 3 — the documents state.

Bazemore, whose monthly income is listed as nearly $3,500, was ordered to pay the Villanova alum $5,000 per month in child support on the first of each month, beginning May 1, 2024.

Bazemore is currently trying to make a comeback in NBA.
