After overcoming France in their own nation on Saturday, Team USA emerged victorious and claimed the gold medal. In the face of one of the most formidable national teams in recent memory, Victor Wembanyama’s side was unable to hold on behind an unstoppable LeBron James, a silky Kevin Durant, and an incandescent Stephen Curry.
The moment the clock reached double zeroes, the players let go with emotion. After it was over, Curry and a few of his colleagues shared a video on social media. Anthony Edwards was the first to join him, and he couldn’t help but talk about Curry’s amazing three-pointer over two defenders late in the game.
Curry’s trademark dance was his way of celebrating, but Edwards feels he should have done more: “You know what you should’ve did? You should’ve pointed at both of them.”
Curry then acknowledges that, even though it could have been too much, he should have taken that precise action.

Following the game, Curry was also seen wearing a “nuit nuit” jersey, which translates to “night night” in French. Curry pays homage to that saying with his characteristic celebration following a huge three. Steph’s sister, Sydel Curry-Lee, posted the photo of him sporting it.

Curry will now get ready for what will be an incredible 16 NBA seasons. Even though he isn’t very old, he is still unquestionably the best in the entire game. He is not going away at this time.
