Patrick Mahomes has a big problem coming into the new season. The Kansas City Chiefs did not exactly plan for this. The NFL’s first preseason game of the year was underway, and the club that won the Super Bowl may find itself in a tight spot. In the first quarter of Saturday night’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, wide receiver Marquise Brown suffered a shoulder injury that has the team worried.

The team, captained by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, will benefit greatly from the addition of “Hollywood” Brown to the roster this summer. Even after winning the Super Bowl, the team still needed reinforcements at wide receiver.
Since it’s unclear how they will handle the injury evaluation, there’s a chance they may provide more assistance there. He forced the squad to mark him as “questionable” for his return to the confrontation during the play.

This was something that could have been avoided for Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs’ players were only anticipated to participate in the first half of the season, even if it’s the first one of the year, so who knows how long they would have gone without the Brown injury?
For the remainder of the game, he did stay on the sidelines, although it was anticipated that he would be on the field a lot. It’s now doubtful if he would have played for more than one series or not at all.
