Tyreek Hill Explains Why, Despite Being Invited to Training Camp, He Refused to Race IShowSpeed

Known as the NFL’s Cheetah, Tyreek Hill is frequently referred to as the league’s quickest player. But when it came time to demonstrate this to IShowSpeed, a YouTube streamer, things went in an unexpected direction.

According to reports, Hill had invited Speed to the Dolphins‘ stadium for an exciting meeting with the receivers. Despite Speed’s initial absence, Hill brought him up again during a press conference. Hill said at the press conference that he preferred Speed to hang out with his teammates over competing.

Two days later, IShowSpeed eventually arrived at the facility, ready to square off against the NFL’s Cheetah. When the YouTuber got to the Dolphins’ complex, Hill surprised everyone by declining to run and making it clear that, according to his contract, he didn’t have practice that day. And he just couldn’t race Speed without practice. He declared:

“I can’t race you bruh ’cause I ain’t practice today… If I had practiced today, I coulda raced you. This is in my contract.”

It’s interesting to note that a Dolphins staff member agreed with Tyreek’s assertion. Still, Speed’s requests persisted, and at that point the Cheetah decided to spice things up.

Hill stated, implying a potential confrontation under his revised terms:

“Whenever I pull up on you, in a full suit, with a briefcase, you know what’s in the briefcase. With my shoes on, ready to run, you know what time it is, bro,”

And so, all that was left for IShowSpeed to experience was disappointment. In the meantime, the encounter did nothing but feed internet debates about Hill’s hesitation.
