Tom Brady isn’t raising the alarm despite Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs having a slower than typical start to the season. The Fox Sports pundit thinks the reigning champions are still figuring things out and are still a formidable team in the NFL.
Brady is optimistic that Mahomes and the Chiefs can overcome their early setbacks, even though they have had a less spectacular start to the season than they had the previous three weeks.
Brady maintained that Kansas City is still a formidable squad even though it is not at its best by putting the team #1 in his power rankings going into Week 4. His optimism in the Chiefs was evident in his top five, which featured the Chiefs, Bills, Vikings, Seahawks, and Texans.
Tom Brady has a lot of faith in Chiefs
The Chiefs offense has not yet displayed the dynamic energy that has defined their previous seasons under Mahomes, despite their 3-0 start.
They’ve been lacking something, particularly with a few important attacking players out. Isiah Pacheco, the running back, and wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown are out, while tight end Travis Kelce hasn’t yet fully established his rhythm in the passing game.

Brady said : “I know they haven’t looked like the normal dominant Chiefs, but they’re finding ways to win, and great teams do that,”
“They always find a way when it matters. This team’s done that. Patrick [Mahomes] has done a great job. He’s got a great connection with Rashee Rice in his second year. A great job by Carson Steele filling in for Pacheco. He had 72 yards the other day for that offense.
“It’s only a matter of time before that Patrick-Travis connection starts humming like always. It could be this Sunday against the Chargers in L.A.”
Tom Brady reassures supporters that despite the Chiefs’ lackluster play thus far, what makes them special is their capacity to prevail under pressure.
