Many people were delighted to see the amiable former player interacting with supporters, but other social media users couldn’t help but draw attention to particular details in the photo and start conversations with their remarks.
But most of the fans kept it fun, complimenting Kelce for making the effort to interact with people even while he was not playing. Some of the comments were :
“what a man,”
“Was that a sausage in his pocket or was he just glad to meet you?! Yowza Jason put that thing away!”
“Guy is packing heat,”
Jason Kelce’s latest endeavor
Despite his retirement from the game, Kelce has continued to be involved in football, having joined ESPN’s football analysis team. Kelce said:
“This is all new territory for me,” “I have even more respect for it now. It’s very hard to do something live, reactive of stimulus that just happened and having something clever and meaningful to say.”
In Week 2, after the Eagles suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the Falcons, he made his “Monday Night Football” debut. He made light of the loud Philadelphia fan base in the stands while addressing the Atlanta crowd.
However, not everyone approves of his move to broadcasting. Chris “Mad Dog” Russo voiced his opinion publicly about seeing too much of Kelce on television, but the ESPN staff swiftly defended their new colleague by teasing Russo for his harsh criticism.
