Despite a heroic effort, the Dallas Cowboys were unable to overcome a 28–6 deficit against the Baltimore Ravens, as they lost at AT&T Stadium for the second time in as many games. Even thus early in the 2024 NFL season, the Cowboys’ 28-25 setback on Sunday sent shockwaves throughout the Metroplex and dropped Dallas’ record to 1-2.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott signed a $60 million-a-year contract two weeks ago, making him the highest-paid player in league history.
Prescott’s expectations thus increased dramatically, and as he fails to live up to them, Dak has delivered a message to erratic Cowboys supporters who are dissatisfied with the team’s sluggish start.

Prescott expressed his own conviction that the Cowboys will turn things around in an effort to defend their NFC East championship and finally bring the Super Bowl back to Dallas as he left the field at AT&T Stadium on Sunday. Prescott was heard on camera telling Cowboys supporters to “jump off if you want” in order to “leave the bandwagon” and cease rooting for the team right now.
