In a disconcerting incident during a recent NFL game, a Raiders fan was caught on camera dangling his little daughter over a railing at the SoFi Stadium.
This shocking act has raised serious concerns about the safety of children and proper fan conduct at sporting venues. Such behavior not only endangers the lives of the individuals involved but also casts a dark shadow on the sporting community as a whole.

There were reportedly six major fights involving Raiders fans at Sunday’s game. There are now growing calls for Raiders fans to be banned from attending games in the future. Things always seem to boil over when the Raiders are playing in California.
But more disturbing than the fights was the apparent behavior of a drunk fan. A fan was reportedly caught dangling his young daughter over the safety railing in the upper part of the Rams stadium on Sunday afternoon.
“Security had to be called at Sofi Stadium, after a drunk #Raiders fan was dangling his young daughter over the railing, according to reports,” ML Football reported. “This is awful.”
A Chargers fan at the game appeared to witness what was happening. It sounds ugly.
“I saw a toddler crying for her drunk (expletive) dad to stop dangling her from the railing. Her mom was too drunk to stop it. I saw another kid crying because his dad who was a Raiders fan was yelling wanting to fight Chargers fans because his team lost,” the Chargers fan noted on social media.
The incident involving a fan dangling his young daughter over a stadium railing is a harrowing reminder of the importance of fan safety and the responsibility of sports organizations to maintain a secure environment. It’s 2024 and such reckless fans behaviour shouldn’t be tolerated in the stadiums.
