Kay Adams Blatantly Supports the Bengals Under Joe Burrow to Win the Super Bowl

The Chiefs have become unpopular with most NFL fans these days due to their unmatched ability to win big games. Why, after all, would any team cheer for Patrick Mahomes and company to accomplish the historic three-peat at their own expense? It was therefore not surprising to see well-known NFL commentator Kay Adams publicly support the Bengals over the Chiefs.

During her recent appearance on “The 25 10 Show,” Kay Adams was asked to project the Chiefs’ prospects of winning a three-peat. To many people’s amazement, though, the presenter abandoned her impartial position and said that she would prefer the Bengals to win this year’s Super Bowl. Adams said : “I mean, I want to see the Bengals do it,”

Kay Adams talks about Joe Burrow’s importance

Adams stated that there is no good explanation for the Bengals when questioned why. She disclosed that she was the only broadcaster to publicly select them as a contender in the lead-up to the 2022 season, which turned out to be accurate.

Even though Joe Burrow & Company didn’t win the championship that season, she decided to support the Bengals going forward after seeing her unexpected prediction come so close to reality. The host questioned, “But what about now?” Kay responded with the same optimism. She maintained that as the season went on, the Bengals will eventually click because Joe Burrow had the best O-line [of previous years] at their disposal and Tee Higgins would soon be back.

Remarkably, she also mentioned that the Chiefs’ narrow victory last week gave her confidence because of Burrow & Co.’s performance against them.

“I think Tee Higgins not being there was a big deal… [but] I think their O-line’s actually the best that Joe’s had, so I think they’ll get it together… I mean last week against the Chiefs… that gave me confidence.”

Though, realistically, Kay projected that it will ultimately come down to the Eagles and the Chiefs one again, her ambitions for the Bengals are higher than the ceiling.
