Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins was detained after being pulled over by police shortly before he arrived at Hard Rock Stadium. After a while, he was released, allowing him to participate against the Jacksonville Jaguars and contribute to his team’s thrilling victory.
But, the problem with the police officers did not end there. It has been revealed that the officer who violently slapped the athlete with handcuffs and placed his knee on his back has a troubled past.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (10) runs onto the field during pregame ceremonies of an NFL game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Nov. 19, 2023.
Records from the Miami-Dade Police Department that TMZ was able to get show that officer Danny Torres has been the target of complaints. Numerous reports suggest that he has not behaved appropriately since entering the police force in October 1996.
Besides Tyreek telling them not to bang on his window like that, what did he do to deserve the aggressive nature from that cop with tattoos?
And Jonnu Smith is on the phone, not being disrespectful and willing to comply with the one officer who told him to leave but then another… pic.twitter.com/4ZSqBngvaP
