LeBron James’s Work Ethic Stuns Shane Battier

LeBron James has had a lengthy and illustrious career because to his strong work ethic. Even at 39, he remains one of the league’s greatest players thanks to his unwavering commitment to maintaining the best physical condition. His work ethic from the start of his career has contributed to his durability. Bron’s Miami colleague Shane Battier disclosed that Bron is benefiting from some excellent behaviors that he was instilled with as a child.

During an interview with Frank Isola and Brian Scalabrine on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Battier discussed James’ remarkable longevity. He is not surprised that the King is ruling the league in Year 21.

Shane Battier talks about LeBron James’s work ethic

The two-time NBA champion was LBJ’s teammate in Miami for three years. Battier observed that the 6’9″ forward would regard his physique as a temple throughout this time. James stood out from his competitors by devoting several hours to pursuits that others might not. Shane said :  “He’s unbelievable, he’s unbelievable. But look, I saw the dedication to his body firsthand, and his greatness comes from his work, really on his body. And the amount of time he spent stretching, and strengthening, and band work, and massage, it was exhausting,”

“I just wanted to drink beer and lift a few weights. His commitment to being at peak physical condition, that’s what separates him from everybody else. And so I’m not surprised, but I see him out there at 40 years old, I’m like, good Lord, LeBron, you’re a better man than most of us, because that’s a grind for anybody, much less a 40 year old,”

Jokingly drawing comparisons between himself and the four-time MVP, Battier asserted that his style of play differed greatly from that of his previous teammates. The former 13-year NBA veteran made no comments that LeBron fans were unaware of. But hearing about his work ethic from other people gives us a better idea of how motivated and dedicated he is to excellence.
