Brett Favre Tries to Use Parkinson’s Disease Diagnosis to Make You Forget Welfare Scandal

53-year-old Brett Favre has disclosed that he was just given a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. Speaking at a Congressional committee on welfare, misspending, and reform, the Green Bay Packers star and NFL Hall of Famer disclosed the diagnosis.

Favre, a prominent outside investor in the now-defunct pharmaceutical business Prevacus, spoke from prewritten notes throughout the hearing.

Favre said : “Sadly, I also lost an investment in a company that I believed was developing a breakthrough concussion drug I thought would help others,”
“I’m sure you’ll understand, while it’s too late for me because I’ve recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s, this is also a cause dear to my heart.”
