A contentious sportswriter has attacked Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever, claiming that she always complains and drawing comparisons between the said characteristic and LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 22-year-old has been a sensation in the WNBA during her debut campaign. She leads the Fever to a.513 record and 20 victories with her average of 19.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game.
Nevertheless, on Sunday, September 15, Jason Whitlock chose to criticize the former Iowa Hawkeyes standout on X.com, formerly Twitter, despite the fact that she was receiving praise for her playstyle and talent. Jason wrote on X :
“It’s official. Caitlin Clark is LeBron James,”
“She just laid a defender out with a Derrick Henry stiff-arm and the refs didn’t even consider blowing a whistle.
“Plus she whines way too much. I can’t take it. Too entitled. She hooked me on the Fever. Kelsey Mitchell is my fav player.”

Whitlock was referring to a play in which Clark defeated the Dallas Wings in the third quarter. She attempted to push past Jacy Sheldon, but others thought she should have been penalized for an elbow.
The WNBA player, who is now on six and one shy of the limit, will not be suspended for one game for a technical foul, saving her from being named Rookie of the Year and MVP.
If she had been suspended, she would not have been able to play in the game against the Washington Mystics, who are now tied for last place in the Eastern Conference with a.342 record, along with the Chicago Sky and the Atlanta Dream.
