50 Cent Discusses His Decision to Decline Donald Trump’s $3 Million Invitation to Perform

50 Cent stated that he was invited to play at Sunday’s Donald Trump rally at Madison Square Garden. “Breakfast Club” featured his statement: “I got a call but they wanted me [for] Sunday,”

Reports that 50 Cent was also asked to play his song “Many Men” at the Republican National Convention in July were brought up by the hosts, which included DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. Following the first assassination attempt on the former president, the 2003 song became an anthem for Trump, 78, and his fans. 50 Cent claimed : “They offered me $3 million,” “This past Sunday,” “I didn’t even go far … I didn’t talk to them about that kinda stuff. I’m afraid about politics,” “You understand? I do not like no part about them.”

“So no gang-banging and no politics!”  “It’s because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you. That’s the formula for the confusion that sent Kanye to Japan. He said something about both of those things — and now he can only go to Japan.”

Trump had a rally inside Madison Square Garden on Sunday night, drawing thousands of his fans ahead of the election on November 5. After 40-year-old comic Tony Hinchcliffe spoke about Puerto Rico, the event became contentious.
