The Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is well-known for his relationship with his wife, Anna, off the field in addition to his on-field accomplishments. In one episode of their podcast, “Daily Grind,” which offers a glimpse into their relationship, the professional shared their worst date night.
The narrative begins during the 2018 offseason, just as the 2019 season was about to begin. Cooper described it as “the worst date night we could have had by human standards.” On a typical date, Anna and Cooper were at their favorite restaurant, enjoying the taster and coursing menus.
They eventually start having a serious conversation. With a look of profound gravity, Cooper disclosed: “They just keep piling up food for the tasting. We’re not eating it because we are talking and eventually we just see like you guys just need to box all this stuff up.”
This wasn’t the date’s worst moment. It resulted from a disagreement between the pair during their conversation because they couldn’t agree on a subject. Cooper noted that he and his wife didn’t speak until the next day, midway through the lunch.
They did drive home together later, but their relationship had suffered as a result of the argument. He openly acknowledged that he was unable to function normally after the two got into a fight and Cooper eventually left for work.
Being in agreement with his wife, Anna, was and is significant, demonstrating the significance of this marriage for the professional. It was “the only time we’ve done that and it will be the last time we do that,” the wideout also admitted in an emotional revelation. He reaffirmed the importance of interpersonal ties in one’s life. Cooper gave the example of how the couple used a book to find the answers.
