Jerry Jones Is Thrilled by Dak Prescott’s Emphatic Forecast

After Dak Prescott signed a record-breaking 240 million-dollar contract extension, making him the highest-paid quarterback in NFL history, the Dallas Cowboys are off to a rough 2-2 start, which is far from what supporters had anticipated. Given the Cowboys’ recent 44-19 thumping loss to the New Orleans Saints, Prescott’s performance thus far has fallen short of justifying the high price tag. They now have to contend with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have a 3-1 record, on Sunday Night Football.

Prescott said that his individual play hasn’t been great when discussing the Cowboys‘ slow start with reporters. Although he called his effort “solid football,” he made a suggestion that his finest work was still to come.

He said : “I can tell you my best is damn sure, I’m on the brink of it,”.

Prescott acknowledged that there were plays in every game that he would like to change, but he is still committed to playing at a high level going ahead. Dak Prescott’s shoulders are already under more strain due to his injuries.

Prescott’s optimism will be put to the test because the Cowboys will be missing a number of important players when they play the Steelers. Due to injury, key players including wide receiver Brandin Cooks, defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, and linebacker Micah Parsons are all out.

Dak Prescott is committed to succeed in spite of the obstacles

He said : “(A 2-2 record) is not acceptable for us. It’s about finding a way to win, starting this Sunday, and moving forward one game at a time,”

Because of Prescott’s prior success in Pittsburgh, Cowboys supporters are optimistic. Prescott was a rookie when Dallas last faced the Steelers on the road, and he helped his club win.

Fans are now counting on him to lead the Cowboys to another victory and revitalize their season because he has eight years of expertise. Prescott has a great chance to show that he is worth every cent of his contract and to put his club back on track with a crucial game coming up. Sunday’s game could be a turning point for Prescott and the Cowboys as the season progresses.
