Victor Wembanyama Says He Would Want To Dunk On NBA Legends Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain

You won’t believe what young basketball prodigy Victor Wembanyama recently said! Wembanyama is only 20 years old, but he’s already making waves in the basketball world. In a recent interview with CBS Sports’ Ashley Nicole Moss, he was asked who he would want to dunk on if given the chance, and his answer was none other than NBA legends Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain!

I mean, can you imagine dunking over two of the greatest basketball players of all time? That takes some serious confidence, but hey, Victor is a confident guy. He’s already being compared to some of the best players in the game, so it’s not surprising that he would want to test himself against the best of the best.

The Spurs center was asked to name five NBA players he would like to dunk on. Wembanyama picked Rudy Gobert and Kawhi Leonard because he respects them as top defenders. He said, “The best defenders would be the biggest challenge, so that would be Rudy Gobert. I think Kawhi [Leonard] would be.”

He added, “So I’d say Rudy, Kawhi, and a third one would be Jonathan Isaac. I think [Isaac’s] a really, really underrated defender.”

Apart from the current players, the Spurs center also named the NBA legends he would love to slam on. The Paris Olympics 2024 silver medalist picked NBA legends Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain.

So, NBA legends, watch out! Victor Wembanyama is coming for you. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll see this young phenom rise and throw down a dunk that will be remembered for years to come.
