For the Texas Longhorns, things are looking intriguing—in a positive way. In their first season there, they are almost ready to participate in the SEC Championship game, and with Arch Manning shortly in charge of the offense, their future is bright.
Quinn Ewers is the starting quarterback for the time being, of course, but Peyton and Eli’s nephew is doing well, and not just because of his arm, as he once again showed his worth against the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday night.
After a 14-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter, he took the ball in a shotgun position, raced out left, and bullied his way to the end zone, giving the Longhorns the lead.
Arch Manning is going to be controversial
Arch Manning is without a doubt the Texas Longhorns‘ quarterback of the future because he is younger and has learned from the starter, even if Quinn Ewers has looked excellent.

Having said that, and with no disrespect to Quinn or his potential as an NFL player, everyone wants to see Arch play more because he looked excellent and had playing time in 2024 due to an injury to Ewers.
Time will tell, but if Arch Manning is given the starting quarterback position and not just a situational signal caller like he was this past Sunday, there is no question that he will perform well.
