NFL Analyst Predicts Jayden Daniels to Win Super Bowl

In his first season with the Washington Commanders, Jayden Daniels created history. Daniels, who was selected with the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, joined Shaun King, Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco, Mark Sanchez, and Brock Purdy as the only six rookie quarterbacks to ever start in the Conference Championship Game.

Gary Davenport pips Commanders and Jayden Daniels for glory

Despite missing the Super Bowl after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship, Bleacher Report writer Gary Davenport thinks the Commanders will return shortly with Daniels in the starting lineup.

According to Davenport: “It was tempting to include Daniels in the top tier after just one season, but the kid will have to back up his rookie season to get to sit at the big boys’ table,”  “But what a rookie season it was—Daniels topped 3,500 passing yards, was sixth in completion percentage, threw 25 touchdown passes against just nine picks, ranked second among all quarterbacks in rushing yards and led the Commanders from the NFC East basement to the conference championship game. From his first start, Daniels looked very little like a rookie, and he’ll win a Super Bowl in Washington. Book it.”

Daniels and the Commanders will need a lengthy offseason to recover from the heartbreaking defeat, but the window for the Super Bowl is now open and should remain so for many years to come.
