Ashley St. Clair, a conservative influencer, claims that last year she gave birth to a child with Elon Musk. On February 14, St. Clair posted on X, previously Twitter, which Musk had acquired in 2022: “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,”
“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that the tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”
The author of Elephants Are Not Birds, a children’s book published in 2021, went on: “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”

A few months after she prompted pregnancy speculations on Reddit, St. Clair released her post. Jennifer Jacobs, a senior White House reporter for CBS News, posted on X following her announcement: “Some Trump aides knew last year that Elon Musk was having a baby with a conservative influencer. The tip-off was when a pregnant Ashley St. Clair started showing up at Mar-a-Lago with guards, specifically members of Musk’s security team, sources told me.”
One day after Musk took his and ex-Grimes’ four-year-old son X Æ A-Xii, his twins Azure and Strider, two, and their mother Shivon Zilis to the White House to join the tech tycoon, St. Clair also made her remarks.
