Following Kanye West’s offensive post on X earlier this week that targeted their children, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are allegedly incensed. In a since-deleted post, the rapper—who now goes as Ye—made offensive remarks about the mental capabilities of the couple’s 7-year-old twins, Sir and Rumi.
The post wasn’t ignored even though it was removed. Page Six reports that Jay-Z and Beyoncé were “shocked” and “absolutely not standing for it.” Legal action is very much on the table, according to sources close to the couple, who are also deciding how to react.
Although there are no public intentions to address the matter, the Carters are having serious internal conversations. An insider revealed, “They’re exploring their options,” adding that discussions with legal teams have already begun.
All it took for me to unsubscribe to Kanye West was “slavery was a choice” and the anti-black rhetoric . I don’t trust any of you niggas who are just now deciding enough is enough because he called Jay Z & Beyonce kids r*tarded pic.twitter.com/MehAOwgLjK

Rather than expressing regret, Ye clarified that he took down the message merely to save from being banned from X. He wrote: “I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay Z and Beyoncé’s family down … because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled [sic],”
Both fans and other musicians have criticized the action. The remark was interpreted by many as another evidence that Ye is prepared to intensify personal drama at the expense of everyone, including kids.
