Former Rape Accuser Getting Sued by Jay-Z

According to Jay-Z‘s lawsuit, the anonymous lady who accused him of rape last year has now acknowledged outright that she made up those shocking claims.

The new case, which was filed weeks after the lawsuit against Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) was abruptly dropped last month, claims that the Jane Doe accuser and her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, engaged in a “evil conspiracy” to use “false and malicious” accusations against the superstar in order to extort a settlement.

The Doe accuser has reportedly “voluntarily admitted” to Jay-Z’s team that the star did not assault her and that Buzbee “pushed” her to make those claims, according to the latest lawsuit.

Jay-Z’s lawyers and Jane Doe’s statements

In a complaint submitted to a federal court in Alabama on Monday, March 3, his attorneys write: “Mr. Carter does not commence this action lightly,”  “But the extortion and abuse of Mr. Carter by Doe and her lawyers must stop.”

In a Billboard statement, Buzbee vehemently refuted the accusations: “This case is baloney and has no legal merit. Shawn Carter’s investigators have repeatedly harassed, threatened and harangued this poor woman for weeks trying to intimidate her and make her recant her story. She won’t. Instead she has stated repeatedly she stands by her claims. These same group of investigators have been caught on tape offering to pay people to sue me and my firm. This is just another attempt to intimidate and bully this poor woman that we will deal with in due course.”

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly drugged and raped by Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs at an after-party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, according to the case, which was filed in December. It came amid rumors that additional celebrities could be linked to Diddy’s alleged decades of violent behavior, and it was a startling extension of the already sweeping allegations against Combs.

Jay-Z vehemently refuted the accusations, referring to it as a “blackmail attempt.” He pledged to fight back and never pay his accuser, accusing Buzbee of attempting to extract settlements from innocent people by fraudulently linking them to Diddy.
