You know how successful athletes always seem to be living the high life? Well, Bengals’ stars Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins took that to a whole new level. They recently signed some pretty sweet contract deals and decided to celebrate in the most epic way possible – by racing their jaw-dropping $250K Lamborghinis through the streets, putting lives at risk.
Of course, we’re not suggesting that everyone should go out speeding and putting lives at risk just because they’ve won some lottery or contract. Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are getting trashed for racing with the Lamborghinis and risking the lives of people on the streets.
Chase inked a four-year, $161 million contract, with $112 million guaranteed. He is now the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL’s history. Higgins signed a four-year $115 million deal, which makes him the highest-paid second receiver in history.
Burrow, who made history himself when he signed his contract extension, will be with the Bengals for the next several seasons.
Just when you thought good things were coming, controversy has already reared its ugly head.
Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins decided to celebrate unconventionally. They both pulled out their $250,000 Lamborghinis and decided to race them all over Miami.
Regardless, kudos to Chase and Higgins for giving us all a taste of the high life. It might not be something we can all experience firsthand, but it sure is fun to watch. But hey, speeding puts people at risk and that shouldn’t be tolerated. I won’t be surprised if these players are arrested and charged in the coming days.
