Cop Rebecca Sayegh Banned From The Police Force For Breaking Into Ex-Boyfriend’s Home

Former female cop Rebecca Sayegh barred from the police force after breaking into ex-boyfriend’s home.

If you ever wondered how to lose a job and an ex-boyfriend in the fastest way possible, let former officer Rebecca Sayegh present Exhibit A: breaking into said ex’s house like it’s a surprise birthday party nobody asked for.

According to the reports, Rebecca didn’t just cross a line, she sprinted over it like she was training for the Olympics. One moment she was Officer Sayegh, protector of public safety. The next, she was the star of her very own real-life breakup thriller.

Rebecca Sayegh, 32, an ex-Toms River Police Officer, was seen in police bodycam footage flying into a frenzy after breaking into her ex’s home in April.

She pleaded guilty on November 17 to burglary, criminal mischief and simple assault, and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said her plea deal included forfeiting ‘all future public employment in the State of New Jersey.’

Investigators said Sayegh used her police baton to smash through the front door of her ex-boyfriend’s home shortly before midnight on April 25, and confronted him and his new girlfriend inside.

During the altercation, prosecutors said Sayegh pushed and shoved the couple, smashed items around the home, and destroyed the hood of one of their cars in the driveway.

To think that a cop would take the laws into her own hands is crazy.

Sayegh had once shared the home that she broke into with her ex-boyfriend for five years, and in the bodycam footage she was seen demanding to be allowed to collect her possessions.

She was seen barking at officers as they tried to remove her from the home: ‘No, we’re going to go when I get all of my s***… Give me a second!’

As one of the officers said they would ‘not give her a second’, Sayegh erupted into an entitled rant, telling the cop: ‘Yes you are!’

Her outburst led one of the officers to yell back, ‘I don’t give a s***’, and promptly pulled Sayegh’s arms behind her back to arrest her.

Sayegh dropped her phone during the arrest, and despite being taken into custody, she then demanded to be allowed to finish her phone call.

‘Give me my f***ing phone so I can call my mother,’ she demanded.

When an officer says she can call her mother when she gets to the police station, she barked back: ‘No, you can give me my phone right now.’

After appearing to tell her ex-boyfriend she would ‘burn your house down next’, Sayegh added: ‘At least my hair is nice today.’

At the end of the day, Rebecca’s story is a cautionary tale: heartbreak hurts, choices matter, and breaking into your ex’s house is never the move, even if you once carried a badge.
