However, as she posed for pictures, the delicate fabric momentarily slipped open, revealing her nipple, so the braless attempt didn’t quite work out as planned. With her hair pulled back in a large ponytail, Brooks handled everything with ease and gave the camera sensual glances.
Tyra Banks, Selma Blair, and pop sensation Chappell Roan also attended the high-profile event.
The Fashion Icon award went to supermodel Tyra, and the Lifetime Achievement Award went to American designer Betsey Johnson. Previously, Brooks was wed to 37-year-old businessman Billy Haire. After being married for five years, the ex-couple got divorced last year.
