Talkativeness isn’t exactly what Bill Belichick is known for. The renownedly silent coach, however, made the decision to sort of open up this week.
The 73-year-old North Carolina head coach finally addressed the now-viral beach photo of him raising his girlfriend Jordan Hudson into the air while in a yoga posture after sidestepping questions during a recent CBS Sunday Morning interview. Not only because of the acrobatics, the image, which was uploaded back in March, went viral online quite fast.
Despite Hudson allegedly interrupting from off-camera to silence queries about their relationship, Belichick stayed away from the subject during the CBS interview.

However, presenter Channing Crowder gave him an opportunity when the topic was brought up again during his appearance on The Pivot podcast this week, and Belichick grabbed it.
The line was enough to make the studio chuckle and the internet buzz once more, but it was his last significant remark about the picture. Even though he avoided discussing his relationship or exercise regimen, it was the first time Belichick has publicly acknowledged the viral photo.
Belichick took the time to explain Hudson’s significance in his life, but the majority of the podcast was devoted to discussing his new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.
