Sometimes you just have to be a father, even if you’re one of the world’s most well-known athletes and competing to be regarded as one of the best basketball players of all time. LeBron James experienced precisely that this week.
While witnessing his son Bryce’s graduation from Sierra Canyon High School in California on Thursday, the King decided to enjoy the ideal father moment. LeBron made the decision to yell an intriguing yell when his 17-year-old received his diploma and crossed the stage, one that appeared to catch the attention of almost everyone present. Bryce grinned and shook his head at his father, who sounded less like a four-time NBA champion and more like Donnie Thornberry.
Bryce, a recent high school graduate, will play basketball for the University of Arizona Wildcats, led by head coach Tommy Lloyd. It remains to be seen if he will eventually join LeBron and his brother, Bronny, on the Lakers.
