During Tuesday night’s Indiana Fever vs Connecticut Sun game, a fresh camera angle shows Marina Mabrey giving Caitlin Clark an unwarranted cheap shot.
The Sun and the Fever were quite tense on many occasions tonight, but after Clark drew a foul against Jacy Sheldon late in the third quarter, the intensity really increased.
As soon as the whistle blew, an irate Sheldon bumped Clark, causing the two sides to scrum. Before Mabrey entered and gave Clark a cheap hit from behind, the two seemed to exchange a few words:

After everything was said and done, the referees gave Caitlin Clark a technical foul and Jacy Sheldon a flagrant one. Both Mabrey and Tina Charles, her teammate, received technical fouls.
