Stefon Diggs Gets Trashed by Analyst for “Privacy” Request

Stefon Diggs has just begun his journey with the New England Patriots, but his tendency for controversy has already caught up with him during minicamp. Recently, the four-time Pro Bowler garnered attention after a viral clip showed him enjoying a party on a yacht with rapper Cardi B and several women in swimsuits.

What caused even more buzz, though, was Diggs seemingly showcasing a plastic bag filled with an enigmatic pink substance—a video that led to immediate speculation regarding possible scrutiny from the NFL or his new team.

However, when reporters pressed Stefon Diggs for his thoughts on the controversy during the final day of mandatory minicamp in Foxborough, he opted not to provide any specifics. Instead, the WR resorted to a vague defense centered on personal boundaries.

Diggs stated, adding that the details were “all internal”: “I kind of keep my personal life personal,”

The Patriots star also mentioned having discussions with head coach Mike Vrabel and others within the Patriots organization, reflecting Vrabel’s focus on making “good decisions.”

Nonetheless, not everyone was convinced by the privacy claim, particularly Andy Hart of WEEI Sports. On a recent episode of the station’s program, Hart openly criticized Diggs for making such a demand while concurrently leading a highly visible lifestyle.

He said: “Stefon Diggs wants us to respect his privacy, which I get,” “Although it would be easier to respect his privacy if he was, I don’t know, a private person — and we didn’t see everything he does on IG all the time.” “He feels personal to his followers on Instagram,”

“Okay, well, I’m a follower. So can I ask him questions, and he’ll answer that? Do we know each other personally via IG?”

Hart expressed his views, calling it “a little bit of hypocrisy,” and highlighted the inconsistency between Diggs’ active Instagram presence, where he frequently shares personal moments with millions, and his refusal to address questions about a video that the same audience saw.
