Let’s talk about what went down at the game between the San Diego Padres and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Apparently, things got a little heated in the stands, with some Padres fans getting rowdy and throwing punches. They brought WWE to the game!
The Padres suffered a 5-0 defeat to Pittsburgh in a shutout at Petco Park, dropping to 32-24, with some of their fans getting heated as fists flew in the stands.
The fight, shown below, is part of a worrying trend of violence at sporting events, especially baseball games. And, while there’s no place for this sort of thing in sports, it’s still a source of entertainment for social media users.
Now, we’re all passionate about our teams, but violence is never the answer. It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Hopefully, everyone involved learned their lesson and we can all just focus on cheering teams in a positive way.
