Fans Believe WNBA Players Hate Caitlin Clark After Ranking Her 9th Best Guard In The League

Let’s talk about the drama swirling around in the WNBA world. Apparently, some fans are convinced that the players have beef with Caitlin Clark. Why?

Well, it all started when she was ranked 9th best guard in the league in the All-Star game rosters.

Fans are up in arms, claiming that this ranking is a sign of hatred towards Clark. They’re convinced that the other players are hating on her talents and are out to get her.

For those unfamiliar, the fans, media panel and WNBA players all have a say in the All-Star game rosters. Fans account for 50 percent of the vote, with the WNBA players and media each getting 25 percent.

As reported by Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles, Clark alone got 1.293 million All-Star game votes. Now, about that whole “Clark’s peers are jealous and bitter” thing we were just talking about…

As you can see in the final ballots below, Caitlin Clark led all fan votes at the guard position and received the third-most from the media, behind Atlanta’s Allisha Gray and New York’s Sabrina Ionescu.

Clark, however, only got the ninth-most votes from her WNBA peers.

Considering that Clark was a 2024 All-WNBA First Team selection and is having another strong start to 2025 (18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game), it’s impossible to comprehend the players ranking her as the ninth-best guard.

But let’s be real – rankings are always going to stir up some controversy. At the end of the day, it’s all about the game and how players perform on the court. So let’s sit back, grab some popcorn, and see how this all plays out. Who knows, maybe Clark will use this as fuel to dominate the court even more!
