The most recent athlete to be broken into is Andre Johnson. Late in July, criminals “ransacked” the NFL legend’s house. One of the stolen things was Johnson’s Hall of Fame ring, according to KPRC 2.
The incident was reported to the police by the former wide receiver for the Houston Texans, and the investigation is ongoing. Criminal charges are what Johnson plans to bring. The door to his bedroom was open when the police got to his house. Johnson had a lot of sentimental items missing. There was also a shattered window in his bedroom.
The first person to make Johnson’s robbery public was rapper Lil Keke, who posted a message requesting assistance in locating the stolen goods.
Posted on Instagram by Lil Keke: “Andre Johnson is my brother,” “He’s the first Houston Texans Hall of Famer. He dedicated his life here, his career here, and also he resides here as a Houstonian. “That makes it much, much more important. Man, we family. It’s a family message.
“Over the weekend, someone broke into my brother’s home and took some items that represent his legacy, represent his dedication, his hard work, his family. “We need to recover that and get that back. This isn’t like a car or a jersey hanging around.
“This represents his career and his family, for real.”
Following the robbery, fans took to social media to promise to support Johnson and assist him in getting his belongings back.
