Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers were playing in Game 7 of the NBA Finals on June 22 when the All-Star tore his right Achilles tendon.
With game-winning baskets, spectacular celebrations, and amazing moments with his now-fiance Jade Jones, Haliburton had a postseason to remember. Haliburton’s efforts will live on in memory even if the Pacers would lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Even though he is only 25 and will get better, he will probably miss the entire 2025–2026 NBA season. At least he has a wedding to look forward to and Jones by his side.
Since his injury, Haliburton has irritated Jones with a new habit, but the two are having fun together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where Jones showed off a gorgeous bikini. While enjoying their trip, Haliburton reminisced about hooping with three heartfelt words: “I miss basketball.”
Basketball will also miss him and his incredible moments, such as when he won Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks.
