At this point, we might as well admit that Victor Wembanyama isn’t just an NBA player, he’s the real beast on the court.
After hitting two blocks in two seconds and then followed immediately by a logo three during game again the Dallas Mavericks, fans couldn’t help it but to tag him “unreal.”
It all happened in the Spurs’ home game against the Brooklyn Nets. Noah Clowney, a forward for the Nets, tried to attack the rim to score. Wembanyama effortlessly swatted away Clowney’s shot, which eventually landed to Terrence Mann. Unfortunately for Mann, Victor Wembanyama also swatted his attempt near the basket.
After that, the 7-foot-5 beanpole casually brought the ball to their side of the court. Without a hint of doubt, Victor Wembanyama pulled for a three near the Spurs logo. Nothing but net. The clip has been shared on X by ‘Hoop Central.’
That sequence, folks, isn’t normal. Having those defensive instincts plus a ball-handling skillset like a point guard? Physically impossible. Perhaps only Victor Wembanyama can pull that off in the league right now. The San Antonio Spurs won over the Brooklyn Nets, 118-107. Wembanyama paced the Spurs with 31 points, 14 rebounds, and six blocks.
Wemby MVP season loading?
At this point, the NBA might need to introduce a new stat category called “Wemby 3” to cement Victor Wembanyama’s name in the NBA history.
