Only in Florida can a love triangle turn into a crazy episode with a baby bumps and a bullet. Meet Damee Bamberg-Gomez, the pregnant woman who allegedly shot her boyfriend after finding out about getting another woman pregnant.
Yes, while Damee was out here rubbing her belly and planning their baby’s christening, her man was out there unzipping into another woman and the end result was him getting the bullet.
According to the arrest report, she called 911 on Feb. 1 saying she shot her boyfriend for putting his hands on her and because she was upset.
Officers say the bullet hit his spine, causing him to have limited use of his left arm.
Bamberg-Gomez told detectives the couple began arguing after the victim came home drunk and she went through his phone. She listened to a voicemail from another woman claiming to be pregnant with his child.
She threw a phone at the victim, hitting him in the head. She claims the man hit her in the back of the head multiple times, however, detectives note she did not have any injuries.
Police say Bamberg-Gomez is ten weeks pregnant and her five-year-old daughter was in the home at the time of the shooting.
Let this be a lesson: Don’t cheat on a pregnant woman — especially in Florida — unless your life insurance is paid up or you can play the hide and cheat game.
