Draymond Green has apologized to Dak Prescott for referring to him as a “bum.”

Draymond Green has done it again, but this time, instead of throwing punches, he’s throwing apologies. The Golden State Warriors player recently apologized to Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott, after calling him a “bum.” Yes, the man who’s built a career out of getting under people’s skin is suddenly discovering the art of regret.

Apparently, Draymond realized he might’ve gone too far and since Dak didn’t clap back, but handled it with pure class, he’s here to say sorry.

“Since I said publicly that he’s a bum, I do want to publicly say I apologize,” Green said on a recent podcast appearance. “Just as a fellow athlete. I think I’d be pissed off if I looked up and another athlete was saying, ‘Draymond is a bum.’ I’d be pissed. So, I’m man enough to say when I’m wrong, I was definitely wrong on that.”

But, while Green apologized for his word choice, he still stood behind his opinion of the Cowboys QB, and that’s basically that he isn’t clutch.

“But in saying that my feelings don’t change. I still think when it gets to the moment, I don’t think he can deliver. But I do apologize with the way I categorized him as a bum. He’s definitely not a bum.”

Draymond Green ended up adding that;

“When he’s sick of playing for the Dallas Cowboys, we’ll take him as the quarterback in Pittsburgh.”

So, lesson learned: even the king of trash talk knows when he’s stepped on the wrong foot. Maybe next time Draymond should focus on his jump shot instead of calling out quarterbacks.
