Coach JJ Redick got caught using offensive language on Bronny James during Lakers-Bucks game.
Well, the NBA world just got a spicy little headline to chew on. Lakers coach JJ Redick reportedly got caught on camera using some strong words directed at Bronny James during the Lakers-Bucks game. And, of course, the internet exploded faster than a LeBron fast break.
Redick’s choice of words wasn’t exactly what you’d teach in a Sunday school class. Some say it was offensive. Others say it was classic NBA sideline energy. Either way, everyone is now rewinding the broadcast like it’s a TikTok compilation of “Things You Can’t Believe a Coach Said on TV.”

During the opening minutes of the game, Bronny received the ball on not one, but two wide-open possessions that could’ve resulted in three-point attempts. Instead, he hesitated and passed them up, prompting this NSFW response from Redick.
James’ lack of confidence shooting the ball drew attention from fans everywhere and stood as one of the main reasons the second-year guard played just 10 minutes, despite being listed in the starting lineup.
Let’s be real, though. JJ Redick has always been that guy, smart, analytical, but also not afraid to get a little spicy. And while you’d hope sideline coaching doesn’t include offensive language, sometimes passion overflows and apparently that overflow comes with a few extra things.
Redick might have overstepped, but let’s be honest, he also made the Lakers-Bucks game a little spicy than stats alone could.
