Malik Nabers didn’t just react, he exploded after the Giants’ loss to the Lions.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned this week, it’s that Malik Nabers does not process defeat quietly. After watching the Giants lose to the Detroit Lions while healing from a torn ACL, Nabers went full “postgame meltdown” mode, not on the field, but on social media, where all legendary NFL rants are born.
He didn’t point fingers politely. He started launching digital grenades at his own teammates.
Nabers did not mince words and was very candid about his thoughts on the offensive play calling in a social media post, even suggesting that the Giants were intentionally trying to lose.
The team’s play-calling in the fourth quarter was questionable as they opted to go for it on fourth down, up three points. The Giants turned the ball over, and the Lions drove down the field and tied the game on a Jake Bates 59-yard field goal.
“Sometimes I think they (be) making us lose on purpose!” he wrote on X.
“Cause it’s no way, bro you throw the ball instead of runnin it to make em burn 2 timeouts?? Then you (don’t) kick the field goal??? Then they have to go down and score!!! Football common sense!!!! Am I missing something?”
Within minutes, Nabers deleted the post, but you know, everyone had already screenshotted it, shared it, analyzed it, and turned it into memes.
Malik Nabers posted and quickly deleted this after the Giants fell to 2-10 😬

Critics called him emotional. Sone fans called him passionate. Others called him “the first player to throw hands from the injury cart.” He’s accusing nobody directly, just strongly implying somebody should retake Football Strategy 101.
