Some people get into bar fights over sports. Others argue about politics. But Peter Riera, a 44-year-old Florida man managed to turn a casual debate about chickens into a full-blown gunfight. Yes, you read that right! Riera was arrested after allegedly opening fire during an argument about how many eggs a chicken can lay. That’s crazy!
Police say Riera got into an argument with three people outside the pub who he claimed were trying to con him.

For some reason, the argument got heated and Riera allegedly fired four shots from a .45-caliber Glock. Cops say Riera was paranoid and thought the folks he was arguing with were out to get him.
America is getting crazier each day! The good news is that, no one was hurt in the wild shooting drama.
Cops say everyone involved was drinking … and, fortunately, no one was injured.
Riera is being held without bond as he faces multiple criminal charges … and two of the people he allegedly shot at ended up getting arrested during the police response. They were busted for resisting officers.
Peter Riera is now sitting in jail, probably thinking about his life choices, and hopefully learning that you can win an argument without turning it into an episode of crazy shootout.
