As a rookie for the Cleveland Browns, Shedeur Sanders is still awaiting his first opportunity to start. Coach Prime’s first season at Colorado without his son at quarterback has been difficult, with last week’s crushing defeat to Utah serving as a terrible low point.
However, it’s evident that the love and feelings in the Sanders household are still strong despite the difficult beginning to the football season. Shedeur made the decision to surprise his parents at work during the Browns’ bye week. It was so cute.
Sanders captioned the video he uploaded to Instagram as follows:
“No matter the season, had to pull up on Pops,”
“Family always stands together.”
Shedeur will also be present at Colorado’s Saturday night game against Arizona at Folsom Field. He approached his father on the sidelines prior to the game and embraced him tightly.
The Sanders family’s two generations still have time to make this year successful. Even if the Browns are having trouble, Shedeur might eventually get the opportunity to lead the attack. With four games remaining, Deion’s Colorado Buffs are 3-5 overall and might yet make it to a bowl game with a strong finish.
