Shedeur Sanders has broken silence on recent home burglary.
Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders is used to dodging defensive linemen, but apparently, he also had to dodge burglars recently. According to reports, thieves broke into his home trying to snatch his famous jewelry collection. Keyword: trying, because if you’re going to steal from Shedeur, you better come with more than enthusiasm and Google Maps.
He confirmed the break-in but made one thing very clear: his jewelry was not touched! Translation: Y’all really thought you were about to steal the same watch I wear courtside? Never!
“I know this is a trending topic that my house got broken into, but I’m in a mental space now to where it’s not too much that can faze me, honestly, that’s going on.”
Sanders then got a big grin on his face before adding, “By the way, none of my jewelry got took.”Â
But still, the thieves made away with items worth $200k.
It’s gotta be a huge sigh of relief for Sanders — he isn’t shy at all about his love for diamonds … including his signature “Legendary” chain.
Unfortunately, though … three suspects are believed to have made off with approximately $200K of items — no arrests have been made at this time.
He truly didn’t seem worried at all … chalking it all up to getting “caught slipping,” but saying “it happens.”
Lesson of the day? If you’re planning to rob the home of a Sanders, make sure you know where the jewelry is located.
