UFC CEO Dana White has banned Dillon Danis over brawl with Islam Makhachev’s team.
If you were hoping for a peaceful week in the UFC, you clearly forgot what sport you’re watching. According to reports, Dana White has now banned Dillon Danis after a wild brawl involving Islam Makhachev’s team. Yes, banned. Yes, Danis. Yes, another fight outside the actual fight. At this point, the man is allergic to calm environments.
Dana White, who has dealt with more fighter chaos than any human should, reportedly said he’d had enough. And assured fans they will never see Dillon Danis at UFC fighter ever again!
“I was on the other side [of the Octagon] and go, ‘F—, I know exactly what this is,’ ” White said of the incident, per ESPN, noting that he wouldn’t be pressing charges. “You will never see Dillon Danis at a UFC fight ever again.”
So Dana did what any exhausted CEO would do. He hit the “ban” button. No more Danis. No more brawling in hallways. No more surprise WWE auditions during UFC events.
Fans reacted instantly. Some laughed. Some cheered. Some pretended to be shocked even though everyone knew a Danis meltdown was only ever one small spark away.
In the end, Dana White needed peace. The UFC needed order. And Dillon Danis needed a BAN!
