A camel wasn’t having it as it kicked a woman in the face and knocked her out during Christmas celebration at Champion Forest Baptist Church.
Christmas is supposed to be peaceful. You know the vibes. Carols, smiles and kids dressed as angels. Maybe a donkey. Maybe a camel. What nobody signed up for was a live-action WWE move from a camel during a church celebration.
Yet here we are.
At Champion Forest Baptist Church, a Christmas event took a sharp left turn when a camel decided it had enough of the holiday spirit. While people were enjoying the festive scene, the camel suddenly lifted its leg and kicked a woman in the face. One second it was Christmas joy. The next second it was chaos.
In the video, a camel was being led down the aisle by a man dressed in custom when it kicked the unnamed woman in the head with its left hind leg.
As the procession continued, audience members jumped up to help the woman before first responders were called.
‘Champion Forest regrets that this happened,’ a church spokesperson wrote in a statement to the Daily Mail.
‘During our recent Christmas Spectacular, an unexpected incident occurred when a camel used in the production struck a guest in the audience,’ the spokesperson added.
‘Our team responded immediately, and emergency services were engaged. We then discontinued walking animals within the audience seating areas for the remainder of the shows. We have remained in contact with the family.’
The woman was treated for her injuries and then released from the hospital, reported KPRC.
So this Christmas, remember the lesson. Enjoy the decorations. Sing the songs. Love your neighbor. And most importantly, if you see a camel at church, keep your distance because peace on Earth does not apply to camel legs.
