Kendrick Perkins got stunned by Malika Andrews’ “raunchy ” question on live television.
Live television is always risky. Microphones stay on. Cameras never blink. And apparently, anchors sometimes ask questions that sound like they were pulled straight from a late-night dating show instead of an NBA segment. At least that’s what happened between Kendrick Perkins and Malika Andrews on live television.
On the set of the NBA Today, when Perkins talked about chicken tenders, he was left speechless after one of his co-hosts, Malika Andrews, jokingly commented about Perk’s preference for the popular food.
Perk: “I’m not a big sauce guy so when I go and order chicken tenders I ain’t getting ranch”
Malika: “You want the dry rub?”
It appears Malika was avenging for Elle Duncan as she’s had a similar experience with Kendrick Perkins.

On the opening night of the 2025-2026 season, Perkins made Elle Duncan a bit more uncomfortable in their appearance on SportsCenter by confidently saying, “What you need Ibuprofen for when you have a Perk?” when Elle was having a bit of a headache on set.
