New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs spent his Christmas holiday away from partner Cardi B and their newborn son, instead sharing a series of festive photos with his other children and fueling social media speculation about the state of his growing family.
The 32-year-old NFL star, who is currently in the middle of a playoff push with the Patriots, reportedly spent the holiday in his hometown of Maryland. Diggs posted a carousel of images to his Instagram on Thursday that included rare glimpses of his newborn children, including a baby boy shared with Cardi B and other infants born to different women within the last year.
The posts arrived as Cardi B celebrated her first Christmas as a mother of four in Atlanta. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper shared her own chaotic holiday scenes on social media, featuring her three children with estranged husband Offset—Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 15 months—alongside her 7-week-old son with Diggs.
“The perfect Christmas picture don’t exist in this house,” Cardi B wrote in a caption accompanying photos of her children in front of multiple themed Christmas trees.
Despite the distance, Diggs interacted with Cardi B’s posts from afar. He shared one of her photos to his Instagram Story with a playful, if controversial, instruction regarding their son. “Miss yaw!!!” Diggs wrote. “Don’t be squeezing him too tight you making him soft,” adding a smirking emoji and a mending heart.
The holiday separate-spending comes amid a whirlwind year for Diggs. Since confirming his relationship with Cardi B in June 2025, the wide receiver has been the subject of several paternity headlines. Reports confirmed this fall that Diggs fathered at least two other children born in 2025, leading some social media commenters to compare his rapidly expanding family tree to that of entertainer Nick Cannon.
Diggs’ holiday posts featured him in matching Christmas pajamas with one of his sons, captioned, “One of my boys first Christmas.” Another photo showed him with a baby girl wearing a pink bow, widely believed to be the daughter he recently confirmed through a paternity test with model Aileen Lopera.
While fans were quick to point out the lack of a joint family photo between the high-profile couple, sources close to the pair suggest the distance was largely logistical due to the NFL schedule and Diggs’ desire to see his extended family.
The Patriots are scheduled to continue their season as they head into the 2025 NFL Playoffs, while Cardi B is reportedly preparing for a new album release and tour in early 2026.
